We all had a really nice Easter over the weekend. The kids got all kinds of new stuff. They got new bikes, candy and a new bunny. We named the little guy P.J. Funny bunny. He is the cutest little thing. He has all kinds of weird personality traits, and the fluffiest fur. He's an angora bunny, Sooooo fluffy, I just wish he didn't poop so much. It's getting a bit extreme.

I know he looks like a normal bunny but he's definately special in his own way. And did I mention how fluffy he is?

Blah

     Having kind of a blah day today. getting some housework done, and watching T.V.
My man's at work, I get to relax, and just do what I want. BUT..... I still can't wait till he gets home. Housework is sooo boring.
     We had to put our cat, Darrell down this week. He was so sick, the vets couldn't do anything. I miss the little guy so much, I didn't realise how empty the house would feel. We have to tell the kids tonight when we pick them up (not going to be easy).

   I really hope we have some nice spring weather this weekend. It would be nice to get outside, maybe have a weenie and marshmallow roast. We have been cleaning up the yard, I'm just waiting to get my garden tilled, I cant wait to have a nice vegetable garden. All my seeds are ordered, and I'm pumped.
     Well I should probably go fold some laundry, I'll be back this weekend when I have something to talk about.

March Break

I haven't been on here much lately. We have had a busy week. Over march break we took the kids into halifax to see the big T-Rex. Her name is Sue, and she was huge. They move the bones to different museums so everyone has a chance to see her. Apparently Halifax is the only museum in Canada showing her. So we were really lucky. It's like a once in a lifetime opportunity. I do believe she is going to be there till April or May. So if there's anyone who hasn't seen her yet, it's definately worth a trip in.

 

 Below is a picture of a 90 year old turtle. And it's still alive. He wasn't moving around much. Probably getting a little slow in his old age.

After the museum we went into Murphy's restaurant. the food was great. I got seafood chowder which was really good. We got a stupid parking ticket when we were into the restaurant. Parking without a valid parking receipt. If you ask me I think it's stupid to have to pay to park your car when you go into a restaurant to eat. Are they not getting enough of our money already?

Rainy days

     I thought we were going to the museum today but I guess that is planned for March break.Then we were thinking of taking the kids four Wheeling, but of course it's raining. Now we're stuck in the house bored. I hope the sun shows itself tomorrow. The snow is pretty much gone up here. The rain will hopefully take care of the rest of it. I think my cold is going away, I feel much better today. Looks like it's going to be a cleaning day. Getting caught up on some laundry and vacuuming....... Well I'm going to make this a short one. I'll be back later.

My first blog

     So I just spent about an hour trying to figure out what I was going to call this Blog. Then I couldn't find an available web address. Now I'm staring at this blinking cursor wondering what on earth I could write about. Some people make it look so easy. Looks like I'm off to a great start.....I usually have so much to say, a condition my mom calls diarrhea of the mouth.....I have never had a blog but I had a live journal in highschool. A good friend of mine told me about this site today, it sounded like fun. We went for a walk this morning. The weather has been really nice the last few days. Spring is around the corner and I can't wait.....
     I guess I should say a few words about myself. I'm 24 years old, I live with my boyfriend, and his 2 kids live with us on weekends. I live on the mountain. I love it up here, out of town. It's my favorite place in the world. We have 2 cats and a bunch of fish. I would like to get a dog someday but one of our cats is kinda crazy, and to be brutally honest, I have every ounce of faith that he could kill a dog if he really wanted to. He's tiny but mighty. Our other cat is the complete opposite, yet they love each other.
     Well I must wrap things up for tonight. It's 11:40pm and I have a big day tomorrow. My boyfriend and I are thinking of taking the kids into the city to the museum to see the big T-Rex. Should be fun. so until next blog, take care, and good night.
